In Simpliplan, when users open an Online plan, a plan saved using cloud storage, some objects may appear as red. This is likely due to the manufacturer data for that object not being installed on the user's device.
To resolve this issue:
- Left-click the red object.
- Under Manufacturers object, located in the menu on the right side of the screen, click the Download manufacturer button.
- The manufacturer data for that object will begin downloading.
This is shown by a progress bar located at the bottom left of the screen. - Once the download is complete, the object should display normally within the plan.
Note: It may be necessary to restart SimpliPlan.
If the object still appears as red:
- Check that the object is still available in Inventory, under the manufacturer's catalogue.
It may have been removed in an update. - If the issue persists, contact the Support Team.
