In SimpliPlan, you can access Settings. In the Settings window, you can access several tabs: General, Presets, Display, Graphic, Measuring, Parts list, Print and System.
Parts list
In Parts list, also known as the Bill of Materials (BOM), you can alter the tax, currency, default installation price and duration, how the parts list appears and what is shown.

To access Parts list settings:
- Click the Settings icon:
- In the Settings window, select the Parts list tab.
- Under the Parts list tab, there are two sections:
General
In the General section, you can:
- Enter a new value into the Value-added tax (VAT) drop-down to modify the amount of tax applied to the total.
- Enter a new value into the Currency drop-down to change the currency code, for example EUR (Euros).
- Enter a new value in Presetting installation price to alter the default price per hour for installation.
- Enter a new value in Presetting duration of installation to alter the default number of hours for installation.
- Enter a new value in Presetting work price (material) to alter the default price per hour for material work.
- Enter a new value in Margin to alter the default percentage profit margin.
View
In the View section, you can:
- Click the Material drop-down to modify how the amount of materials used are shown in the parts list.
- Click the Prices drop-down to modify how prices and costs are shown in the parts list.
- Click the Installation drop-down to modify how installation prices and durations are shown in the parts list.
- Click the Article numbers drop-down to modify how article numbers are shown in the parts list.
