In SimpliPlan, users can access Settings. In the Settings window, users can access several tabs: General, Presets, Display, Graphic, Measuring, Parts list, Print and System.
Display settings
In Display settings, users can alter how the User Interface (UI) appears.
To access Display settings:
- Click the Settings icon:
- Select Settings.
- In the Settings window, select the Display tab.
Note: The window opens in the General tab by default. - Under the Display tab, there are two sections:

User interface
Here, users can:
- Change the program language by clicking the Language field and selecting a different language.
- Change the theme of the UI by clicking the Theme field and selecting a new theme.
- Adjust the scale and resolution by using the Scale and Resolution sliders.
- Toggle full screen mode by clicking the Full screen mode switch.
- Toggle to display the 3D navigator and tiling grid by clicking the 3D navigation and Display tiling grid switches.
Note: To apply changes the program will need to be restarted.
Guide lines
Here, users can:
- Toggle the appearance of height lines in alternate colours by clicking the Show height line (green), Show height line (red) and Show height line (blue) switches.
- Toggle the visibility of the two metre ground line by clicking the Show 2-metre-line in ground plan switch.
- Toggle the visibility of roof windows in 2D view by clicking the Show roof windows in 2D switch.
- Adjust the appearance of the walls in 2D view by clicking the 2D wall display field and selecting a new settings.
