In SimpliPlan, you can access Settings. In the Settings window, you can access several tabs: General, Presets, Display, Graphic, Measuring, Parts list, Print and System.
Display settings
In Display settings, you can alter how the User Interface (UI) appears.
To access Display settings:
- Click the Settings icon:
- In the Settings window, select the Display tab.
Note: The window opens in the General tab by default.
- Under the Display tab, there are two sections, User interface, Editor and Guidelines:
User interface
Here, you can:
- Change the theme of the UI by clicking the Theme drop-down and selecting a new theme.
- Adjust the scale by using the Scale slider.
- Toggle full screen mode by clicking the Full screen mode switch.
Note: To apply changes the program will need to be restarted. |
Editor
Here, you can:
- Change the appearance of walls in 2D view by clicking the 2D wall display drop-down.
- Toggle the tiling grid by clicking the Display tiling grid switch.
Guide lines
Here, you can:
- Toggle the appearance of height lines in alternate colours by clicking the Show height line (green), Show height line (red) and Show height line (blue) switches and set the height those lines are shown in the corresponding Height fields.
- Toggle the visibility of the two metre ground line by clicking the Show 2-metre-line in ground plan switch.
- Toggle the visibility of roof windows in 2D view by clicking the Show roof windows in 2D switch.
