In SimpliPlan, you can access Settings. In the Settings window, you can access several tabs: General, Presets, Display, Graphic, Measuring, Parts list, Print and System.
Graphic settings
In Graphic settings, you can adjust the graphics settings of the program.
To access Graphic settings:
- Click the Settings icon:
- In the Settings window, select the Graphic tab.
Note: The window opens in the General tab by default.
- Under the Graphic tab, there are three sections, Quality, Graphic effects and Virtual reality:
Quality
Here, you can:
- Adjust the resolution using the Resolution slider.
- Choose the default room light by clicking the Default room light drop-down.
- Change the level of multisampling by clicking the Antialiasing drop-down and selecting a new setting.
Note: A higher level of antialiasing will make edges appear smoother.
- Adjust the frame rate by clicking the Image frequency drop-down and selecting a new setting.
- Change the refresh rate of the display by clicking the Vertical synchronization field and selecting a new setting.
- Change the mirroring quality by clicking the Real time mirroring drop-down.
- Toggle Enable HDR output by clicking the switch.
Note: This is only valid when your screen is HDR capable.
Note! The graphic quality may be limited by your hardware. Photo realistic rendering is handled by the CPU, on-screen rendering is handled by the GPU (graphics card). For more information, see SimpliPlan system requirements. |
Graphic effects
Here you can tick or untick the boxes to turn on or off Ambient occlusion, Blooming effect, Particle effects, Realtime mirroring and Tone mapping for 3D view and in Presentation mode.
Note: If the Particle effects is set to off, Water effects will not be visible. |
Virtual reality
Here you adjust the Room scaling in VR using the slider and activate or deactivate the Camera aperture to prevent motion sickness option by ticking or unticking the box.
