In SimpliPlan, users can access Settings. In the Settings window, users can access several tabs: General, Presets, Display, Graphic, Measuring, Parts list, Print and System.
Graphic settings
In Graphic settings, users can adjust the graphics settings of the program.
To access Graphic settings:
- Click the Settings icon:
- Select Settings.
- In the Settings window, select the Graphic tab.
Note: The window opens in the General tab by default. - Under the Graphic tab, there are three sections:
Quality
Presentation mode
Virtual reality
Quality
Here, users can:
- Alter the level of mirroring by clicking the Mirroring field and selecting a new setting.
- Change the level of multisampling by clicking the Antialiasing field and selecting a new setting.
Note: A higher level of antialiasing will make edges appear smoother. - Adjust the frame rate by clicking the Image frequency field and selecting a new setting.
- Change the refresh rate of the display by clicking the Vertical synchronization field and selecting a new setting.
Note: The graphic quality may be limited by the user's hardware. Photo realistic rendering is handled by the CPU, on-screen rendering is handled by the GPU (graphics card). For more information, see SimpliPlan system requirements.
Presentation mode
Here users can toggle the switches to turn on or off Depth of field, Blooming effect and Particle effects.
Note: If the Particle effects is set to off, Water effects will not be visible.
Virtual reality
Here users can activate or deactivate the Virtual reality interface by clicking the Mode field and activate or deactivate the Camera aperture to prevent motion sickness option.
