In SimpliPlan, you can access Settings. In the Settings window, you can access several tabs: General, Presets, Display, Graphic, Measuring, Parts list, Print and System.

Print settings
In Print settings, you can add a company logo, alter the print layout and quality settings for user generated .pdfs.
To access Print settings:
- Click the Settings icon:
- In the Settings window, select the Print tab.
Note: The window opens in the General tab by default.
- Under the Print tab, there are three sections, Defaults, Template and Print quality:
Defaults
You can alter the default settings for the layout and appearance of user generated .pdfs. You can:
- Alter the orientation of .pdfs by clicking Orientation drop-down menu.
- Adjust the size of .pdfs by clicking the Paper size drop-down.
- Alter the scale of the .pdfs by clicking the Scale drop-down.
- Adjust the quality of .pdfs by clicking the Quality drop-down and selecting a new DPI value.
Note: DPI = Dots Per Inch. The greater the DPI number, the higher the resolution.
- Change the default template by clicking the Templates drop-down.
Template
You can add a company logo to be included on user generated .pdfs.

Print quality
You can toggle the setting for print quality by clicking the Lossy image compression switch. Lossy compression is a method of data compression where information is discarded or altered to reduce the size of a file, resulting in some quality loss.
