In SimpliPlan, users can save a plan to cloud storage on one device, for example a tablet, and open it on another, for example a desktop PC. This is a useful function in cases where local storage space is limited, or when two or more designers are required to collaborate on a single project.
Note: Saving a plan to cloud storage requires an active internet connection. To manage permissions and access, see How to set permissions and access for plans saved in cloud storage.
Saving a plan to cloud storage
- Right-click the Save planning icon:
And select the Save as icon:
Note: On a tablet, press and hold the Save planning icon. - In the Save file window, click the Saved plans icon:
and select Online plans:
Note: The Save file window opens using the last location a file was saved to or opened from. - In the Enter filename field, enter a name for the file.
- Click Save file.
Opening a plan from cloud storage
- Click the Load saved planning icon:
- In the Open file window, left-click the Saved plans icon:
and select Online plans:
Note: The Open file window opens using the last location a file was saved for opened from. - Select a plan.
- Click Open file.
