In SimpliPlan, all materials, such as textures and tiles, are summarised at the bottom of the Parts list, also known as the Bill of materials (BOM), with the total amount shown in the Quantity column in metres squared (m²). For more information, see Parts list.
However, some materials are not included in the summary. These are as follows:
- Default materials applied automatically to a newly created plan.
- Material beneath the base of a platform aligned with the floor and that has the Use platform bottom switch active. For more information, see How to insert and edit a platform.
- Material beneath the side of a platform that is aligned with a wall.
- Material beneath the base of an object that is aligned with the floor, or material beneath the side of an object that is aligned with a wall.
