In SimpliPlan, users can save a plan to local storage on one device. This can be useful when creating a local copy of an online plan stored in the cloud, either as a backup or a variant. Or when creating a copy, or multiple copies, of a plan to produce variations on the design and theme of a room.

Saving a plan to local storage
- Right-click the Save planning icon:
And select the Save as icon: - In the Save file window, click the Online plans icon:
and select Saved plans:
Note: The Save file window opens using the last location a file was saved to or opened from. - In the Enter filename field, enter a name for the file.
- Click Save file.
Opening a plan from local storage
- Click the Load saved planning icon:
- In the Open file window, left-click the Online plans icon:
and select Saved plans:
Note: The Open file window opens using the last location a file was saved to/opened from. - Select a plan.
- Click Open file.
