In SimpliPlan, users can use Custom views to pre-set a 3D view at the desired rotation, horizontal pan, zoom level and camera height and save them to make navigation quicker and easier to the desired view point. Users can also export saved view points.
In Presentation mode:
- Using the 3D navigator or alternative navigation controls, navigate to the desired view point in the 3D view. For more information, see Presentation mode.
- Click the Custom views icon:
- In the Custom views window, click the + icon to save the current viewpoint.
- The default name used for a new individual view is 3D-view.
Enter a name in the text field at the top right of the Custom views window and press Enter on the keyboard to save the change. - To navigate to a saved view point, double-click its name in the list.
Note: Use the ˄ and ˅ icons to reorder the list. - To delete a saved individual view, select the named view point and click the Delete icon:
Exporting Custom views
- In the Custom views window, click the Export views button.
- In the Export views window, users can define the type of Output, Output directory, enter a Scene name, and define the Resolution.
- To export all saved view points, click the Export button.
Note: All view points are exported as PNG image files.
