How to select a new room shape – SimpliPlan

In SimpliPlan, new plans open displaying a four walled room design with predefined dimensions. Users can add walls manually, however under Room shape users can quickly select from predefined room shapes ranging from four to eight walled rooms. This allows users to quickly select a room with the required number of walls, removing the need to add a wall manually.

In Room mode:

Under Room shape, left-click to select a new room layout for the plan.
Note: Click the arrow icon to see more options.
Users can now adjust the dimensions of the room by dragging and dropping the walls and corners, or by clicking the measurements, shown in blue, and entering new values.
Users can also rotate the room, mirror horizontally or vertically by clicking the icons above Room shape:

Note: Using these icons locks the room dimensions. To re-enter the wall editor mode, under Walls, click the Edit walls icon:
