In SimpliPlan, when laying tiles on a surface, you have access to several menu options, located in the panel on the right of the screen. These include Tiling area, Tiling technique, Positioning, Properties of main tile and Save tiling as favourite.

Tiling
Under Tiling area, on the Tiling tab, users can set the height of the tiled area in the Tiling height field, view the total tile coverage in m² in Area, view the discrete Number of tiles and add an inlay by ticking the box next to Add inlay.
Inlay
Under Tiling area, on the Inlay tab, users can set the width of the inlaid tiles in the Width field, increase the number of inlaid tiles in the Width / tile width field, set the height of the inlaid tiles in the Height field, and position the inlaid area using the Space left / right / top / bottom fields.
