In SimpliPlan, you can use the Free circle drawing tool to draw circles in your plan, for example for illustrative or annotative purposes.
Note: This is easiest in 2D view or surface view. |
In any mode:
- Under the Labelling tab, click Free circle.

Left-click to select the centre point of the circle.
Note: The currently selected room surface will be highlighted by a dashed red line.

Move the mouse to draw the circle and left-click to confirm.
- To confirm the circle, in the Free circle dialog, click Apply.
Note: You can abort by clicking the Undo / cancel icon:
You can now alter the position and appearance of the circle using the panel located on the right, under Positioning and Free circle:
Positioning
Under Positioning, you can adjust the location of the circle by using the icons.
Note: The Shift step length field determines the distance moved when using the Move selection up, Move selection down, Move selection left and Move selection right icons. |
Free circle
Under Free circle, you can:
- Alter the style of the circle by clicking the Line style field.
- Alter the colour of the circle by clicking the Colour field.
- Adjust the size of the circle by entering a new value into the Radius field.
