In SimpliPlan, users can render photorealistic, high-quality images and save them in a variety of file formats.
To render an image:
- Click the Presentation mode icon:
- In Presentation mode, navigate to the desired viewpoint for the render. For more information, see Presentation mode and Create your own views.
- Click the Render image icon:
- In the Render window, there are two tabs: Preview and Final.
- Select the Final tab.
- Under the Final tab, click the Render current 3d view button.
- The rendering process will begin.
Note: The time taken for the rendering process is dependent upon the quality of the render and the hardware capabilities of the user's device.
NOTE! Do not change the view or alter the rendering settings, as this will abort the rendering process. - A progress bar will appear the bottom of the screen, located to the right of the Render image icon.
- The final stage of rendering is processing raytracing.
Once this had completed, the render is finished. - In the Render window, click the Save icon:
- In the Save file window, enter a name in the text field located at the bottom of the window for the render.
- Click the Save file button.
Note: To quickly locate the rendered image file, click the Open output folder button.
