Measuring

In SimpliPlan, users can perform simple measurements for illustrative purposes between any two points.

In Tools mode:

1. Under Dimensions, click the Measuring icon:
   
   
   
   
2. Move the mouse to the desired start point.
   Note: A red square denotes a capture point. To place freely, hold the SHIFT key on the keyboard.
   
   
3. Left-click the desired start point.
   
   
4. Move the mouse to the desired end point.
   Note: A red square denotes a capture point. To place freely, hold the SHIFT key on the keyboard.
   
   
5. Left-click to confirm to end point.
   Note: Users can right-click to cancel.
   
   
6. The measurement can now be moved, for example outside the room.
   
   
7. Left-click to confirm where the measurement will be located.

To confirm the measurement(s) and finish using the tool, click the Apply icon:

To deselect the Measuring tool, click the Undo / Cancel icon:

To delete a measurement:

1. Left-click the measurement value.
   Note: The selected measurement value will be highlighted in red.
   
   
2. Press the Delete key on the keyboard.
